ems Resource Instance

In "emscli -a ",
I guess the must be a text file with instructions in it. Like what file system is being monitored for what kind of a criteria. Can somebody give me an example? Point me to the right direction if I'm wrong.

Hi Jun,

No. It's not a text file but a request. You can look at /var/opt/resmon/dictionary and the files underneath that directory.

Anotherway is to go through 'resls' command.

#resls /
....
/system
/StorageAreaNetwork
/adapters
/connectivity
/cluster
/storage
/net
#resls /net
/net/interfaces
#resls /net/interfaces
..
/net/interfaces/lan

Keep traversing until the end. If it is already configured, then it will display as configured. Otherwise you can add it the request using emscli

Look at the man page of 'emscli'.
