    <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When ever I am starting my cluster I am getting the following error message, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;CM-CMD[2058]: Error: lan4 is a slave device which you are not allowed to reference directly from a ServiceGuard configuration.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;lan4 is configured as a standby &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;can any one suggest a solution for this&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in adv&lt;BR /&gt;Raj</description>

      <description>Did you configured lan4 already for some other purpose and then trying to assign it as a standby in cluster.&lt;BR /&gt;check using&lt;BR /&gt;# ifconfig lan4&lt;BR /&gt;What status it show.&lt;BR /&gt;# lanscan&lt;BR /&gt;See if any secondary interfaces present on lan4.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;All the best,&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
