ENV not working

Hi,

HP-UX problem:
When we login to user "oracle" and enter ENV it doesn't show any environment set up. But if we login to "root" and use ENV after login to oracle as "su - oracle" it shows all environment set up. Why? Please Help.

Ajmal,
Check the .profile of Oracle. Something is wrong in there.

Hi,

Check the file called ~oracle/.dtprofile and uncomment string with
DTSOURCEPROFILE=true

Hi,

Thanks for help. Both answers worked. uncommenting the string DTSOURCEPROFILE=true in ~oracle/.dtprofile and removing some hidden characters from Oracle user's ".profile"; login thru CDE as well as telnet working fine.
