Hello:

Is it possible to use chatr to disable an static library?

static /opt/hpws/apache/lib/libapr-0.sl.9
dynamic /usr/lib/libm.2

dynamic /usr/lib/libdld.2
dynamic /usr/lib/libc.2
shared library binding:

The static libraries I want to disable are /opt/hpws/apache...

I'm probably wrong, but I think you want to use "ar".

I don't think you can disable static entries from chatr output, but you can turn them into dynamic entries with

# chatr -l

What exactly are you trying to achieve?
