    <description>If the machines in question support vPAR or nPAR partitions then you *could* do this in theory... machine B would have to be split into 2 seperate partitions (two seperate OS images). Otherwise as others have stated the best option is a single cluster of all three systems with 1 package that runs on only A and B and another that runs on only B and C.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Duncan</description>

      <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is it possible to configure 2 different clusters on one machine.&lt;BR /&gt;For example:&lt;BR /&gt; machine A + machine B  =  Cluster1&lt;BR /&gt; machine B + machine C  =  Cluster2&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So on machine B, 2 different clusters needs to run.&lt;BR /&gt;It tried this, but if I'm applying 'Cluster2', he tries to rename Cluster1.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is this possible?</description>

      <description>Hi Bart,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sorry no, this is not possible.&lt;BR /&gt;Only one cluster per machine allowed.&lt;BR /&gt;But the number of packages allowed is quite high &amp;amp; you should be able to achieve what you want be creatively configuring the packages to run what you want, *where* you want.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds,&lt;BR /&gt;Jeff</description>

      <description>No its not.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Perhaps an approach you could take is to step back a level.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Instead of having two clusters that perform different things, you could have two PACKAGES that perform different things.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Maybe Package1 runs on Machine A and fails over if necessary to Machine B while Package 2 runs on Machine C and also fails over to Machine B if necessary.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So machine B backs up each of these boxes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Kent M.       <description>I don't think this is possible.  I believe a machine can only be a part of 1 cluster at a time.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;one server can belong to one and only one cluster.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You cannot do that.&lt;BR /&gt;But you can build a 3 server cluster and use packages.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   Massimo</description>

      <description>Just back from MC/SG II course - the answer is no.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As otheres have suggested, make a single cluster with 3 nodes.  Make B your "standby" node for all packages.  Have some packages run on primary node A and others on with C as the primary.  You can configure these packages so that they only run on either A and B or C and B.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds...Geoff</description>
