Hello.

I configured two node cluster with two package.
One of package guard Oracle_9_2 and the other guard own develop application.

On operating, One of the package switch over adaptive node.
I don't know cause why package switch over.
I will attach the file of package cntl.log and the other log.

I doubt, the cause of swiching full hash table.

You tell me..
thankyou

The error log tells

"no enough space"

The error is due to
1.Amount of memory and swap available.
If you have 80% used.
What is the value of dbc_max_pct on your kernel.
If it is 50% of memory bring it down to somewhere around 8.
The buffer cache half the memory is too high.

check the individual process usage using
UNIX95= ps -e -o ruser,pid,vsz=Kbytes

to check the process usage by each process.
How is the usage of the swap on the machine
Just do a
swapinfo -ta

you can use glance to monitor the process which is throwing out the error.

2.You have to increase your kernel parameters like
These paramters define the upper limit for a process.
They have default values like 8MB.

maxdsiz
maxdiz_64
maxssiz
maxssiz_64
maxtsiz
maxtsiz_64
ALso make sure that you check these values.

Revert with the amount of swap utilization

Also if you have 2Gb RAM then you can bring down the dbc_max_pct (buffer cache) to 250MB(15%).By default it is 50% i.e. 1Gb for buffer cache.

Also check that you are running the 64 bit oracle executables then you need to tune the 64 bit kernel parameter maxdsiz_64(for 64 bit applications) and not maxdsiz(32 bit).check it out.

REview your documentation on the tuning of kernel parameters.

What is the output of swapinfo -ta.What is the swap usage?

Revert
