      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You have basically, two things to do in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/init&lt;SID&gt;.ora:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1 - decrease sort_area_size (this value can be used for each session, so be carefull with high values!)&lt;BR /&gt;2 - Increase shared_pool_size&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As an exemple, you can have something like this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;shared_pool_size = 128M &lt;BR /&gt;sort_area_size = 256000&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Eric Antunes&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SID&gt;</description>
