      <description>Hi All&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;    I have create /dev/vg05/lvol1 logical volume. It has been mounted in /test . Now I need to remove the lvol1 from the vg05.Please help me to remove it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;Niru&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>logical volume can not be removed while it is open.So&lt;BR /&gt;#umount /test&lt;BR /&gt;#lvremove -f /dev/vg05/lvol&lt;BR /&gt;-f to avoid confirmation message ;)&lt;BR /&gt;#vi /etc/fstab&lt;BR /&gt;remove logical volume entryfrom fstab file to avoid error in next reboot.&lt;BR /&gt;#vgdisplay -v vg05&lt;BR /&gt;to check&lt;BR /&gt;Thats All!!!!&lt;BR /&gt;BR,&lt;BR /&gt;Kapil</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If its flashing some error during umount execution then kill all processes on this volume by:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#fuser -ku /test&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And then follow the procedure given above.</description>
