HP aC++ licensing

Can someone tell me if the B9007AA ("HP a C++/ANSI C Developers Bundle LTU") is a per-CPU or per-cabinet license to use?

e.g. with 4 CPUs in an RP3440, must one buy quantity 4 of the LTU, or quantity 1?

per cpu so to be legal you need to buy 4.

although I believe if you have 2 dule core cpu's you only need to buy 2.

I think it's actually per "cpu socket"

Everytning I've found is talking about "per core", not "per socket".

You're probably confusing HP with Microsoft. MS does license per socket regardless of cores.

I'm closing the thread but if anyone can support Paul's claim of "per socket" with documentation from HP, feel free, and I'll re-open the thread and give the first one to do so 10 points.
