I cannot blame it to network this time, but the stats will have to wait. I'm affraid there have been some format changes somewhere as the cron summary told me there were no points earned at all over the past two weeks :(

New stats are running. found the `problem'. HP forum scanning is great to promote defensive programming :)
This time I had a regex reformatted to be even more defensive. New scripts are already available. I think I'll put these under git too

I now just have to wait for the stat to finish. Network is still not super-stable, so expect glitches.

A quick update. I will skip this weeks stats too, as the full rescan is *still* running, and it is only at 54% of the full list of ID's that have points.

They forum server is probably to blame. All http transfers are between 2 and 19 kbps. Very very very slow.

Hope this wednesday's stats will be extremely reliable then :)
Will be a lot of top-scores with a three-week span.

The re-fetch took till Sunday! That i,plies the forum was (and is) sometimes extremely slow. There is one parsing bug fixed since the last re-fetch. Once ITRC is up to speed again, I hope to attack that too. This may have caused some ID's to fall out of the fast mover list. They will return.
Above weakness is also the reason this triple-week's stats do not have a html version attached. That also will return.

21132 points this week. 51926 posts (432 questions, 51494 answers).
16 promotions and 37 waiting in line.

Well, finally the overview for 13 feb appeared, but it for sure looks like not everything went right!

- Just in the top 50, there are 4 people loosing places, without anyone gaining.

- Some participants do not carry a name.

- some people seem to be missing (well, including myself; that made this easy to spot).

Is there anything you can do about this?
Me thinks NO stats is preferable to these stats, so maybe until repairs are done, the page should be taken down.

(bever mind the gripes; I _DO_ appreciate your work in this!)

Name issues should be fixed. I re-loaded all 5200 ID's where this happened.
For those interrested, it was a caching issue in BerkeleyDB. Once a process crashes without closing the pseudo-DB, and the cache was big enough to hold the pending changes, all changes are lost.
The two possible solutions are to either select no cache at all (cache-size 0) or sync the changes on every completed action. I chose the latter and hope all is back to normal now.
