I am trying to install hp-ux on rx2620 using DVD and it stays right after memory test

This is likely a firmware issue, the more current the DVD is, the more likely a firmware update will be required.

Yes i have check the console configuration and it is as per the doc, and also without the OS being up can we upgrade the firmware?

i have the version is
* ROM Version : 01.05
* ROM Date : 11/06/2006
* BMC Version : 05.06

Firmware updates can be done using a bootable CD_ROM, the ISO image is available on the web.

Where is your console connected?
What exactly is the console device setting?

You should change the VGA console setting from secondary to not configured.

This is much too old for this server. This release does not support this kind of hardware. You need at least a late 2006 (september) release, but newer will be better.
