    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;If it is a Cisco Router do this.&lt;BR /&gt;logging x.x.x.x&lt;BR /&gt;where x.x.x.x is the IP address of the HP-UX server.&lt;BR /&gt;Save the configuration of the router.&lt;BR /&gt;This is all enough on cisco router side. You&lt;BR /&gt;need not do anything on HP-UX server side.&lt;BR /&gt;As syslog will be listening on 514 by default.&lt;BR /&gt;you can that /etc/services file.&lt;BR /&gt;Now router will log the messages in /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards,&lt;BR /&gt;U.SivaKumar</description>
