Warning:portmapper on server 10.5.0.1 is not responding

I have just installed SCO Unix 5.0.5 Enterpice on a server and when the server starts i get the message : "Warning:portmapper on server 10.5.0.1 is not responding ".This is just warning message, the server works o.k.
How can i stop this warning from appearing?

Hi,
10.5.0.1 is the IP address of which server ?. That error means portmap process is not
running. you will not be able to use NFS services then. Try this on 10.5.0.1
#portmap
#rpcd

Hi,
Then you have to give on the same server manually and look for any errors.
#portmap
#rpcd
for using NFS services.
