FC port problem

Hi Guys

I have a SAN network which include two N- class Sever cluster with Service guard and 5 L -class server as application Servers.I also have three racks full with VA 7410 enclosure disk. Each rack has it own controller with auto RAID configured. The Enclosure are daisy chain to main controller. On the second rack ,this is the error i am getting when i connect to the controller. The amber light is flashing on the main controllers

Warning State >

This is the error "FC Port Problem ". The array is in a warning state.What next should i do to avoid the array from degrading

Try to get more info:

dsp -c
dsp -e
dsp -s

If you have commandview running somewhere, run

armdsp -a

Have a look at the LEDs on the link control card (LCC). From your dsp -f output, the disk shelf should be the one with the rotary address switch set to 5 - the very bottom shelf in the rack? The link active LED should be on. The 10 disks in that shelf are included - seen by the array contoller through the other LCC.

If the link LED is off you could try reseating the FC cable to the LCC. The FC port problem does seem like bad connectivity to the port. The next stage would be to reseat the LCC itself but take care. There are many customer replaceable items in the VA but the LCC is not one of them.
