Zlib missing when configure openssh

Hi, I need help on compiling openssh on HP 11.00 system.
I have installed Openssl and zlib on the system.
When I run ./configure I got the following message.

configure: error: *** zlib missing - please install first ***

Any idea what's wrong?

Looks like you need to install zlib first, you can download it from;

http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Misc/zlib-1.1.3/
