      <description>Execute passwd -s &lt;USERLOGIN&gt; so that you will get information of the user as,&lt;BR /&gt;name status  mm/dd/yy  min max  warn&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This format specially for non-trusted    mode with nisplus respository and with no user restriction's.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Or you can use logins command there as,&lt;BR /&gt;logins -a -l &lt;LOGINNAME&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And more, you can use sam too to get the correspoding user informations there.&lt;/LOGINNAME&gt;&lt;/USERLOGIN&gt;</description>

      <description>"passwd -s -a" does provide this information in an easier to read format, but it will only gives this information for users included in the local /etc/passwd file, or if your running NIS+.  So, this command is only useful if it can be run on the NIS master, and if only the /etc/passwd file is used.  The logins command will work from any of the NIS clients.</description>
