JVM Error !

We are in the middle of a test production SAP Upgrade (from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 with Unicode conversion "CU&UC"). We are in the phase where we export the database. At that phase we getting the error:

This related to an SAP Upgrade ! Do you have a clue

Have you tried a newer version of Java? I couldn't find many google hits at all and I don't have access to the SAP site since we don't use SAP here.

SAP/SAP tools Supports Java Up to 1.4.x only. Not beyond that "till now".

It was really the only thing I saw mentioned, but not specifically to what you were running into.

I couldn't even find any information on what platforms are supported, patches required or dependancies. Everything seemed locked down and needed a login to even get close on SAPs site. I only found a few forum type search results.

Which JVM do you use HP provided or SAP provided? (PS: I don't know SAP provides JVM or not)
Did you check your JVM patches related with your version, (If you are using HP JVM)?

Dear Murat,

Each hardware vendor provides a version of the java that is specific to his Processor type. HP now is providing Java for IA64 platforms.

running "/opt/java1.4/bin/java -version" gives:
java version "1.4.2.13"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2.13-070317-13:26)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 1.4.2 1.4.2.13-070317-18:29-IA64N IA64, mixed
mode)

I already wrote about SAP and JVM with PS. But we are talking about SAP, it is own oracle installer CDs, SAP package downloader, backup tool and etc... So I am not sure about JVM.

Anyway, did you check you JVM patches and
HP has also publish :=) new version of JVM 1.4.2.16
