open ldap and hpux authentication

Hi,

We are planning to do authentication of hpux server(11.31 ia 64) users through openldap configured in RHEL 5.4 Server.(Version - openldap-2.3.43-3.el5).

In my hpux server I have found the S/Ws

LdapUxClient B.04.20 LDAP-UX Client Services
NisLdapServer B.04.20 The NIS/LDAP Gateway (ypldapd).

1. Do we need to install any other client service for openldap rather than LdapUxClient B.04.20 2. What are the steps to configure openldap client on hpux server?

Shalom,

The version of LDAP-UX you have chosen is a little out of date.

5.01 is the current version and that is what I'd recommend.
