Hi what is mput and mget?

These both units are used while we do ftp from one to other.

mput: multiple files can be put on other server from current server.

mget: multiple files can be get/received from other server to current server.

hi,

mput Multiple data you can put same as mget/mput

ftp> mput *
or
ftp> mget *

before doing ftp do ftp -i then if you do mput or mget it will not going to ask y/n

You can also use the "prompt" command to change this.
