current driver does not support configuration message

We are attempting to get an rp3440 configured to get its IP address via DHCP. When we attempt to config the NIC via SAM, we are told that the current driver does not support configuration and that we need the latest driver.

HPUX 11iv1, v2, or v3 w/ current patches ?
Model number of NIC card and /or ioscan ?

Try manually configuring /etc/rc.config.d/netconf
set DHCP_ENABLE[x]=1 on interface
then disable any other specific IP entries for that lan.

run /sbin/init.d/net down the net up

If you are not connected to the console when you do the above you will loose lan connectivity.

I think your card part number replaced with A6825A. Therefore you can upgrade your driver from following urls that depends on your operating system

I think that driver will also works for Core I/0 Ethernet, if don't works you can apply latest HW Enab. Patch bundle.

I think you need the latest bi-annual patch set and the latest HWE Hardware enablement bundle.
