General user timeout policies should be in SAM under "System Security Policies" "Password Aging Policies."

If you are using 11.23 and up there is a secweb tool that will help you manipulate those per user (I think it comes with 11.31, and you may have to download it fr 11.23 (free)... with the SMSE product.

Also, there's the CLI varient modprpw... in trusted mode....

That said... if you are using 11.23 or up... I might suggest abandoning Trusted mode as it is deprecated in 11.31 (in favor of SMSE).... if you use *that*... you can still use secweb, but the CLI interface is setuserdb (as described in /etc/security.dsc).... hope that helped!

Hello
is it possible in Trusted mode (HPUX 11iv1 and 11iv2) to create an account that should be deactivated automatically after some time?

It seems no entry in the SAM areas can set this possibility.

Thanks in advance
RV
