I need info on Xaccess:

where does the file go, /etc?
can you use allow and deny in the same file?

Say deny all from company.domain then allow just some users by ip or workstation?

Is there a way to base this on subnets?

My goal is to lock X11 down to just admins and developers but I have a large number of people to keep out. Please send example if you have them.

regards,

Hi,

Refer following doc for restricting X11 access.
http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000080093577

The Xaccess file is located at two places
/usr/dt/config/Xaccess - The default file created during installation. You can customized it to suit the requirement and copy to /etc/dt/config/

/etc/dt/config/Xaccess - The actual file used by X11.

Yes, the same file could be used for allow and deny access. Open Xaccess file and refer the documentation inside it.
