Hi Expert,

When I try to re-build the kernel by adding ACC/X.25 driver, It has given error as follows.

"Cannot build a kernel using /usr/sbin/config. The standard output of
the command is shown below:
Stop.
config: make did an exit(1)
The command exitted with exitcode -71."

Can any body guess, what will be the problem? Is it required any compiler?

H/W Details : 9000/800/N4000-44
OS : HPUX 11.0
Driver Installed : Z7476AA B.03.02.00 ACC and X.25/9000 Software Bundle
Driver configuration : When I try to making in acc0 driver in.

Yours valuable inputs are highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Rajesh S

Hi Rajesh,

Please confirm that all your patches are configured using:

swlist -l fileset -a state | grep -v -e configured -e \#

If any patches are shown with a status like 'installed' then they will need to be configured or possibly re-installed. If PHKL_18543 is listed in this state proceed with extreme caution - there are many forum documents discussing how to approach this particular situation.

regards,

Darren.
