does anybody has experience with HP-UX security patch management ? Are there security patches available, that I can install ? I know some applications like Altiris or Shavlik which are unfortunately focused on Wintel.

There are two options:

Security patch Check tool from HP.

Patch assesment tool:
http://www4.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/assessSystemsPage.do?BC=main

The patch assesment can't be done automaticly.
If your unix servers have access to the internet, you can perform this via cron.
