Hi,
did you checked the env ?

In which order does the /opt/java1.3 appear in the PATH, after or before /opt/java1.4 ?

Is there any env variable pointing directly to /opt/java1.4 ?

Massimo
I have RTE 1.3.1 install and also JDK1.4, the program complains the java1.4 is not supported... why doesn't it use my /opt/java1.3 instead ??

Thx for your helpm

Sundance

Take the java 1.4 references in SHLIB_PATH

Try again.

If possible get rid of java 1.4 altogether, it might be causing problems.

I had it installed and had to rip it out when it started to mess with my Oracle installations.

I think PATH and SHLIB_PATH will fix you up.

SEP

Sundance -
For the next release of the product (V2.2, out soon), there is a fix in ids_checkJavaVersion which now checks for Java products (swlist -l product) instead of just looking at bundles.

Pierre

Would you mind telling me where I can download IDS9000 for HPUX 11.00 ? Our company is now using HPUX server in 11.00, but the free version of HIDS is now for 11iv1 or 11iv2 only.

Thank you.
