      <description>Hi All &lt;BR /&gt;   some one please help me to reconfigure my vpar configuration.&lt;BR /&gt;  currently we have two vpars running with &lt;BR /&gt;   vPAR1  CPU:6 MEMORY:20GB&lt;BR /&gt;   vPAR2  CPU:4 MEMORY:4GB&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  i Need to re-allocate the memory configuration from 20Gb to 18Gb and assign the 2GB to vPAR2, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;could some one please confirm the below commands are correct.&lt;BR /&gt;shutdown vPAR1 and executing &lt;BR /&gt;   vparmodify -p vPAR1 -m mem::18432&lt;BR /&gt;   vparmodify -p vPAR2 -a mem::2048&lt;BR /&gt;looking forward for your answers- thanks in advance &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;shan A</description>

      <description>thanks you sandy and Torsten.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The changes were done well, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i'm curious to know what is the difference between using -m and -d options, since i have tried both the options, both worked in the same way, other than specifing "total memory" or "to be added portion" ?</description>
