      <description>Bear in mind that HP-UX is a virtual-memory based, demand paging system. This means that at any one time it is possible to have many more processes running (okay some are running, some are sleeping) than will actually fit within physical memory. The "SIZE" refers to the total virtual memory size of the process if it were all loaded. It can include text, stack, data, shared memory, and memory mapped files. Bear in mind that much of this space might be shared with other processes. Consider running 30 instances of vi, all of these would use the same code (text), and use the same shared library functions. However, each would have private data and stack segments and this is what "RES" refers to.</description>
