    <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you will need a graphics - Xwindows environment because the dbca is java-based and runs on an X-windows environment.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have a graphics terminal, it would be easier to launch the installation from there itself.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hope this helps!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;kind regards&lt;BR /&gt;yogeeraj</description>

      <description>export DISPLAY=&lt;YOUR_IP&gt;:1.0&lt;BR /&gt;run DBCA&lt;BR /&gt;you should have a X-manager or exceed running.&lt;BR /&gt;You can try running xclock first to test it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/YOUR_IP&gt;</description>

You already have a thread about this!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Install a X-Server application on your PC, for example this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://x.cygwin.com/" target="_blank"&gt;http://x.cygwin.com/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now download putty:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;From your PC, run&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;putty -X &lt;YOUR server=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;or&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;putty -X -telnet &lt;YOUR server=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Once connected, run your X-application. The window will appear on your PC.&lt;BR /&gt;That's it.&lt;/YOUR&gt;&lt;/YOUR&gt;</description>
