You need to run the tsconvert command. This will set up your trusted system and the TCB directories.

Pete
I have a new server with users already created on it. However, I wish to run TCB. So I have copied the /tcb directory from another server.

After having problems with the root account. I removed the /tcb/files/auth/r/root entry.

Want I really need to know is, is there a TCB setup script or something similar ??

Hi,

Easiest way to convert is using SAM as follows:

sam => Auditing & Security => System Security Policies

at this point if the system is not in trusted mode it will point it out & ask you to confirm the conversion to Trusted.

BTW - I would remove the /tcb structure *before* you do this as it's likely to cause the conversion to fail. If you want to copy in /etc/passwd, /etc/group & the /tcb dir stucture after you convert - that's OK.

HTH,
Jeff
