topic Extend file attributes in Operating System - HP-UX

I was recently at the HP World 2004 and while in a session it was mentioned that there is a file attribute that will allow the setting of:

disable modifications

or something to that effect which would prevent even root from modifying the file without first changing this attribute. Can anyone tell me about this and what is the command to do this?

Hi,

This sounds doubtful. I've seen problem with root edits for NFS mounted files where the nfs mount is without root permission and the file is owned by another id/group with no world write permissions.

Hope this helps.

Regds
