    <description>Hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   we merged two databases in produuction environment.After merging the databases the performance is very slow..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  please suggest me what are the ways to analyse the problem and resolve it..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  Is it possible to analyse the performance using quest software .if so,please provide the deatils regarding how to configure quest software and how to analyse the performance issue.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Nirmal.</description>

      <description>hi Nirmal,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;for performance monitoring you will require Statspack or Automatic Database Diagnostic Monitor (ADDM) (in oracle 10g).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;With Quest software, you can generate a health check which will highlight all the problem areas as per the database configuration.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;E.g. In Toad, you can do File-&amp;gt;DBA-&amp;gt;Health Check.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;kind regards&lt;BR /&gt;yogeeraj&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
