      <description>Hello I've problem with wrapper on HPUX 11.0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This is my /etc/inetd.conf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ftp          stream tcp nowait root /usr/local/bin/tcpd /usr/lbin/ftpd  ftpd -u 007&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#&lt;BR /&gt;# tcpd(1M)  reads its configuration information from this file upon&lt;BR /&gt;# execution through inetd(1M).&lt;BR /&gt;#&lt;BR /&gt;# See the tcpd.conf(4) manual page for more information.&lt;BR /&gt;##&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;##&lt;BR /&gt;#  Timeout value for client's user name lookup&lt;BR /&gt;##&lt;BR /&gt;rfc931_timeout          5&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;##&lt;BR /&gt;#  Action to be taken on reverse lookup failure&lt;BR /&gt;##&lt;BR /&gt;on_reverselookup_fail   deny&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;##&lt;BR /&gt;#  Logging information level&lt;BR /&gt;##&lt;BR /&gt;log_level       extended&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And I have no notification in the syslog.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've sended a kill -HUP to the inetd process.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Someone have an idea ???&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi ,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You need to add -l option to the ftpd line on /etc/inetd.conf in order to enable syslog logging.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ftp stream tcp nowait root /usr/local/bin/tcpd /usr/lbin/ftpd ftpd -l -u 007&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Ok, but i have only the ftp activity.&lt;BR /&gt;But nothing about the ftpd and the policies with hosts.allow and deny.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you for your help</description>

      <description>I've found my problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I need to use the tcp_wrappers for 11i.&lt;BR /&gt;I think this a problem of parameter with the compilation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you for your help&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
