    <description>hello friend.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This sounds like a disc problem to me, try booting of the alternate disk if you have one.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have you tryed booting into single user mode, if you can do it check your /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log file and post your findingd here&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;another possibility is that your /stand/vmunix file is corrupted there should be a file /stand/vmunix.prev, you could try to boot of that, be warned that vmunix.prev is your prior vmunix file (kernel).</description>
