CDE and hpterm color

I was wondering if the hpterm window supports color and if not what term window would be the best. I am trying to set up vim on the system. Has anyone achieved this(I am using hp-ux 10.20).

Try launching
hpterm -fg Yellow -bg Black -sl 1000 -sb
just to see if colors are supported by your CDE session first!..

Haven't tried vim, I suppose you downloaded it from hpux.cs.utah.edu right?

Hi,

the answer is "yes", and the terminfo database contains the definitions for some. Read the "man" page about "hpterm"...
