sendmail configuration for own location

Hi all,

I have build a sendmail.Now want to install its in own location not in default location.
So how to configure for same.

Hi Subrat,

Change various prefixes in the Makefile and then './Build'. See pages 7 and 8 of the Sendmail Installation and Operation Guide:

Shalom Subrat,

The latest sendmail is available from http://software.hp.com

search for sendmail.

After that, with the exception of a cool tool HP provides called gen_conf everything is the same as it is on the sendmail.org site.

/etc/mail is the default location of the configuration files.

whence sendmail
# commmand to give you to default location of the binaries.
