PPPD Where are you????

Hi:
I am running hpux 10.20 and wan to install ppp so
I can get onto the internet. I found a pdf from HP
and it says to use swinstall. but then it wants to know where the depot it kept. I tried all of my install
CD's but to no avail. Can anyone please help me?

Hi,

If it is not on the Core OS CD, you should try and find it on your application CD set. If you can't get it there, try these:

COntact your local HP response centre to get it, should you not find it.

I have searched all of my CD's first but I see no PPP or PPPD
Can you tell me what package it is part of???

the link you sent is to order a book and not software. By the way the book link and the PDF I got from HP are the same
thing except that one is in electronic form and one is published in paper form.

Using my M$ machine and doing a search on *ppp* the CD's revealed this:

DISK 1 subdirectory ISDN
DISK 4 Subdirectory ENWARE\HPXT-SUPPL
Subdirectory Netstation\HPXT2-Drivers
DISK 5 Subdirectory ISDN_LINK

Hi,
PPP is not included in any HP-UX 10.20 CDs. In
HP-UX 11.0 it is installed by default. In HP-UX
10.20 you have to search for some free third
party PPP software in internet.

Can it be HP has no PPP on 10.20?? doing a search for third party I found this.
