I want to limit external modem access to a single user that has no privileges.

Get a dial-back modem, which is the safest way to ensure that the user (well almost) is where they should be to gain modem access.

Hi,

There are two kinds of modem security I know.
1. Dial Back: Where in your modem dials back to the destination number.
2. creating password for the incoming numbers
