    <description>Does anyone know what this error message is?  I can not log into my server usiing any id.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;have you ever seen this error message?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;No utmp entry.You must exec "login" from the lowest level "sh".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Paula,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; I suspect that your /etc/utmp file has become corrupted - login from the console &amp;amp; do the following:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#mv /etc/utmp /etc/utmp.bad&lt;BR /&gt;#touch /etc/utmp&lt;BR /&gt;This creates a new file&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;OR&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#&amp;gt; /etc/utmp&lt;BR /&gt;This will zero out the file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then try again.&lt;BR /&gt;If you can't get logged in as root from the console, you'll have to TOC it from the GSP &amp;amp; do this in single-user mode.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds,&lt;BR /&gt;Jeff</description>
