I have a problem - I think .
Is it normal that this process takes.

%WCPU %CPU COMMAND
75.93 75.80 perflbd

I've seen this before and I'm sure that there is a patch for it.

This process (daemon) runs as part of the measureware/glance product.

In saying that what OS are you running so a patch can be recommended?

You can simply stop the process and restart it without any problems as well.

# /sbin/init.d/mwa stop
# /sbin/init.d/mwa start

Im running HP-UX 1100.
The only patch I have found about this is PHSS_17724. Is that the one you talk about.

The latest one I can find is 'PHSS_20652' 'PHSS_20653' & 'PHSS_20654'

These relate to 'midaemon' which is the problem that I was thinking of. 'perflbd' doing the same thing, this patch would surely fix it as well.
