Need Script

Hi Folks,

I need a script to add what string to my binary.

Example: what nagios
output: $Nagios A.08.00-2.5 $

where i got this when i added wht_version.h into .c file which builds the binary nagios....

Is there any compiler option or any automated script which does the same ...

HP compilers have a pragma:
#pragma versionid "..."

Why did you want an automated script? To add it after you have linked? (There isn't any.)
