MirrorDisk-UX is a purchaseable product. After you give HP the money, they give you a codeword, which gives you access to the product, which you will find on the application DVD(s).

Pete

All optional products are shipped on a set of CDs (4 or 5) or a DVD called the Applications set. You get this package with your new system or when you purchase optional products. If they are lost or missing, contact HP or your software supplier for a replacement.

hi, you wont find it on the core os cd, its on application cd no1.

This is invisible to swinstall unless, you have added the codeword in first, as its a licenesd product per cpu on servers.

once the codeword has been added in swinstall, the product appears as if like magic! for you to install

Andy

Actually, it may depend on which HP-UX 11iv1 OE (operating environment) you have.

MirrorDisk comes bundled with the Enterprise OE and Mission Critical OE.

It does NOT come bundled with the Foundation OE.

So, if you have Foundation OE, it won't be on the DVD and you'll have to purchase it separately and install off of the Apps. CD/DVD. If you have Ent. OE or MC OE, then it should be on the DVD.
