    <description>well I would say your disk requires replacing, BUT if the system is THAT old, you may have a major problem getting a disk size that is supported by that OS.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>dear all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have an old HP workstation under Unix 9.07 !!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;At boot I had the following message :&lt;BR /&gt;"/dev/rroot : cannot read : BLK 680232&lt;BR /&gt; /dev/rroot : Unexpected inconsistency; run fsck manually"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When I run manually fsck I have in continous the message : "cannot read block 680232"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I can boot as single user.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can I repair the hard disk or must I install a new one ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks for your answer</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I believe the disk is dead and needs to be replaced. Its probably not your boot disk, or single user boot would fail as well.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
