How do I know if my box has been converted to a trusted system?

Hi Luis:

One way to cd /tcb/files/auth
There should be a number of directories under it.
For example: user asmith will have the encrypted passwd stored in a/asmith; user cjones will has the encryped passwd stored in
c/cjones.
If you find these files, you are a trusted system.

A simple way is to see if you have the directory '/tcb/files/auth/' and files within it.

Hi again the same thing I am going to repeat

# cd /tcb

If this returns a error then UR system is not

trusted.

# cat /etc/passwd

Check the second field..it should be "*"

# audsys

Should show U something
