Black square on top-right of my screen

I have a black square on top-right of my hp-ux workstation.This squre does not disappear even when I reboot the workstation.
What is the problem.

Hi,
and welcome to the forums.

If the display problem is not corrected by a re-boot, chances are you have a faulty screen.
Have you tried attaching a different screen ?

I am using hp 2035 monitor.There is a 'pip' button at the monitor.I press the button and black square disappear.

I got the clue that the issue is hardware related.
