Hi Indrajit,

Most patches can be removed with swremove, the software state will be rolled back to the patch level before that patch.

Look at the patch install info for more info.

Hi,

If the patches are "simple", i.e. they don't include kernel rebuild etc, swremove works almost always, otherways you have to use Ignite backup/restore.
For HPUX patch bundles only Ignite is suitable.
