      <description>Shalom Indrajit,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;LVM only once again.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vgdisplay /dev/vg00 &lt;BR /&gt;# /dev/vg00 may need to be chaned.&lt;BR /&gt;# You will see a list of physical disks.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pvdisplay /dev/dsk/c1t1d0&lt;BR /&gt;# example use a real disk.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now you know if you have a disk to extend to.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;lvexted &lt;LOGICAL volume="" name=""&gt; &lt;DISK name=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Note that the root FS can not be extended, it must be contiguous.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP&lt;/DISK&gt;&lt;/LOGICAL&gt;</description>

      <description>When issuing the following command:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# vgdisplay vg00&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;These 2 lines are important:&lt;BR /&gt;PE Size (Mbytes)            16&lt;BR /&gt;Free PE                     1200&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In this example, 1200 Physical Extents (PE) are still available and every PE is 16MB in size. Hence, in this example there is 1200x16MB=19200MB still available in vg00.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When you are out of free PE's, listen to SEP :)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers</description>
