    <description>Hi team.,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We are facing a peculiar problem in our servers.&lt;BR /&gt;Here is the Details.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;bash-2.05$ date&lt;BR /&gt;Tue Nov 28 07:01:49 GMT 2006&lt;BR /&gt;bash-2.05$ date -u&lt;BR /&gt;Tue Nov 28 12:01:51 GMT 2006&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Our TimeZone is set to&lt;BR /&gt;bash-2.05$ echo $TZ&lt;BR /&gt;GMT+5&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But when we access the server via winscp,and check the time of files we created recently, it is showing &lt;BR /&gt;28/11/2006 05:31 pm ( 5hours 30Minutes Fwd )&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We are also facing few issues when we check the time from the browser.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can anybody know the reason for the issue...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Suseendran .A&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Your TZ setting is illegal.  You should NOT be using GMT unless you use GMT0.  See TZ under environ(5).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any other setting requires you to use different name.  For example for India:&lt;BR /&gt;export TZ=IST-5:30&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Using "GMT+5" is the same as EST5 with no summer time.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Really Amazing and our Whole Team are here to thank you..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Yes., &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;export TZ=IST-5:30&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It works....&lt;BR /&gt;_________________________&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But How did you find out the IST value of indian time is ( IST-5:30 )&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Really looking for your reply&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks &amp;amp; Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Suseendran ,A</description>
