Can anybody help me for connect direct issue

Hi,
I got the following error when I tired to send file using Connect direct .

Failed to obtain connection to CONNECT:Direct server, exiting.

XIPT004I Return Code: 8 Feedback: 0
:&HOST=vmv1:&PORT=1263:

XAPI001I Return Code: 8 Feedback: 0
sdip_call failure.

What should I do to get rid of this error ? Can anyone please help me here ?

Hi,
I would suggest you contact http://www.sterlingcommerce.com/Products/Customer/ and/or get on a course.

Has this worked before or is it a new script ? Have you checked syntax/network/firewalls ?

Can you please also review your feedback record, as you rarely reward the answers given ( 9 for 26) or close the problem once you have got the solution.

This is an existing script and it is throwing the error . I have reviewed my records and closed the threads

Today I saw that I wasn't even able to get connected by using "direct" command .
And I don't which config file should i modify for this host and port number error :(
