Hello experts,
I have a rx7620 server with 11.23 v2 OS. Recently I used "glance" command to see the system performance status and I detected a strange phenomenon. There is a process "kcmond" which consume A CPU efficiency. I snapshotted a part of the output as follows,

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PROCESS LIST Users= 8
User CPU Util Cum Disk Thd
Process Name PID PPID Pri Name ( 800% max) CPU IO Rate RSS Cnt
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
kcmond 2353 1 230 root 101/11.1 498151 0.0/ 0.0 1.8mb 1

Does any expert can give me suggestions?

PS: The attechment is the contant as above in nomal format.

Thanks & Regards,
Carson Sui

So what glanceplus patch are you refering to? It seems a bit odd that a glanceplus patch would solve a kcmond problem.

It is sorry so late to reply to your question. First, I must correct the content what I posted before. I didn't install the glanceplus patch. Actully I reinstalled the "Casey" package. I don't know why HP named the package Casey. According to my vendor, if the OS edition is 11.23 v2 and be released on Mar. 2006 or Dec. 2005 probable to meet this problem. On my HP-UX box, I reinstalled the package and the problem is resolved. BUT the package can't be download on public web site, it can only be download in HP internal web site. My English isn't good, and hope you can understand what I mean.
