      <description>It really depends on which patches were applied.  Command (PHCO) and Subsytem &lt;BR /&gt;(PHSS)patches usually do not require a reboot.  Networking (PHNE) and Kernel &lt;BR /&gt;(PHKL) patches most often do require a reboot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Look at your /var/adm/sw/swagent.log to see which patches were installed.  Then &lt;BR /&gt;look at the individual patch text files to determine whether a reboot was &lt;BR /&gt;required.</description>

      <description>IF you are using the Y2K-1020S800.tar  bundle, then no reboot is required for &lt;BR /&gt;those patches.  However, there is at least on patch in the bundle which has &lt;BR /&gt;been superseded, and the superseding patch(es) have kernel and networking patch &lt;BR /&gt;dependencies, so these will require a reboot if said patches are not already &lt;BR /&gt;installed on your server.</description>
